This incense holder is beautiful and simple, following the concept of the Chie collection. It was made with traditional techniques that have been preserved for generations by Hizen Yoshida Pottery from Ureshino City in Saga, Japan.

"Chie" means the ability to see things as they really are and to recognize the truth. Developed for modern-day lifestyles, this collection is inspired by ancient wisdom.

Inspired by Buddhism, the Chie circle is painted with a single stroke in Zen calligraphy. It is said that the circle represents the infinite, the beginning and end of everything, enlightenment, psychology, and the universe as a whole.
