Private Label Inquiries

  • Question 1: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for a standard private label order?

    The KOH-BO Private Label Program is available only in the following order quantities: 1,440 units per fragrance, per product format (480 pcs/case) or 2,880 units per fragrance, per product format (480 pcs/case). Order quantities other than those listed above are not available under the standard KOH-BO Private Label Program. Minimum reorder quantity is 1,440 units per fragrance, per product format.

  • Question 2: Where is the incense produced?

    Our incense is manufactured by Nippon Kodo Vietnam in accordance with Nippon Kodo’s quality standards and production specifications.

  • Question 3: Do you offer help with design?

    No, we do not provide in-house design services. We provide templates and specifications for our packaging, and we ask that you provide your own print-ready artwork that aligns with your brand's visual identity.

  • Question 4: How long does it take to produce private label incense?

    Once your purchase order (PO) has been placed, our standard private label program typically requires up to 5 months for production and completion. Timelines may vary depending on project requirements, and we recommend planning your launch schedule accordingly.

  • Question 5: Can I order more than 2,880 pieces, customize scents, or customize packaging?

    If you are interested in ordering more than 2,880 pieces per fragrance, customizing your packaging, using your own oils, production in Japan, or if the fragrance you are looking for is not listed, please contact us using the email address provided at the top of this page.

  • Question 6: Can I request a physical sample of my custom-branded incense before full production?

    Yes. You can order your physical (prototype) sample in Step 04. Once you receive your sample, you can approve the prototype at the bottom of Step 04. This ensures that the scent and packaging meet your expectations before we move into the production phase.

  • Question 7: What are your payment terms for private label orders?

    A 50% advance deposit is required to begin production after prototype approval and purchase order acceptance. The remaining 50% balance is due after the finished products arrive in the United States. Orders will be released for shipment to the customer only after the remaining balance has been paid in full.

  • Question 8: Who owns the rights to the custom fragrance or packaging design?

    You retain full ownership of your brand's artwork and logos. For bespoke scents developed specifically for you, the intellectual property of the fragrance formula remains with KOH-BO, but is exclusively produced for your brand.

  • Question 9: Do you handle international shipping and customs?

    No. Our Private Label Incense Program is currently available only within the United States. We do not accept private label orders for customers outside the U.S. and do not provide international shipping or customs services.
