KOH-BO is a play on the word kōbō (工房) and koh (香). Kōbō is the Japanese word for workshop—a space of craft where ideas are shaped into form through care and process. Koh is associated with fragrance and incense, and the quiet ritual of scent in Japanese culture. Together, they evoke the idea of an incense workshop, a place where fragrance is thoughtfully crafted with purpose.
