A distinctive Juzu bracelet crafted from natural mountain cherry wood and dyed using traditional Japanese Sho-Aizome, or indigo dyeing. The deep navy shade, known as Kachi-iro (“Victory Blue”), has been associated with good fortune and triumph in Japan for centuries.

The mountain cherry wood beads are carefully dyed with native indigo by AWAJI Ai LAND Project, known for its traditional indigo work. The beads are left without a surface coating, allowing the natural wood to develop a beautiful sheen and deeper character over time. With its rich navy color and substantial 13mm beads, this bracelet offers a bold yet understated expression of Japanese craftsmanship.

Each Juzu is handcrafted in Kyoto, Japan by Kyoto Kanbe Juzu, whose tradition of preserving Japanese Juzu craftsmanship dates back to 1918.

The bracelet comes presented in a traditional paulownia wood box, valued in Japan for its light weight and moisture-resistant properties. The box provides a beautiful way to store and protect your Juzu when not in use, making this an especially thoughtful gift or keepsake.
